Tim Green has had a phenomenal year. After the highly anticipated remix of the Paul McCartney and Timo Maas collaboration and an acclaimed EP on Lee Burridge’s imprint Get Weird titled “For A Memory”, he is back on remix duties on Cityfox’s new release by Atelier Francesco. The EP comes with an array of remixes, but it’s our own Tim Green who delivered a very special interpretation for ‘Dead End’.
Long drifting basslines drop at the 3-minute mark setting the tone for the track, topped by mesmerising vocals and melodic guitars. The track evolves simultaneously between melancholy and euphoria, memories and hope, verging on the edge but never falling into either extreme. This is the perfect blend proving Tim Green’s prowess in the studio. Expect this to close out many sunset sets for the rest of the summer.
