The momentum around the hit single ‘Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five’ seems to keep getting bigger and bigger.
The music video of the collaboration between Timo Maas, James Teej, Sir Paul McCartney and Wings was premiered by Nowness and Rolling Stone Germany on the 26th of May. Officially released on Paul McCartney’s VEVO channel on the 27th of May, it is directed by London-based Can Evgin, Wanda Productions and Anomalous Visuals capturing a choreography by FKA Twigs collaborator Aaron Sillis.
The track received strong support by BBC1 powerhouses Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Annie Nightingale on their respective radio shows and is on heavy rotation on SW3 and Radio Eins in Germany. The single received praise from Billboard, Rolling Stone, NME, Clash Magazine or I-D Magazine. It is now getting licensed to Universal Music in all major territories.
