We are very proud to be working with some of the most respected and veneered artists on the planet and always strive to achieve the best results possible with every project they put forward to us. When Steve Lawler approached us to create a new website for his fans, we were very excited about the direction to take this venture in. We knew right away the website had to reflect Steve’s identity as an artist as well as a person, we also wanted the website to be an official platform with whom Steve’s fans would be able to engage with everything happening in his world, whether it be his tour schedule, releases or just general news.

As far as the design and the content was concerned, we knew off the bat that the website must be an artistic statement, complete platform showcasing all of Steve’s releases that span his 20 year career and also serve as a rostrum for all his recent video’s, pictures and so on. We managed to integrate Youtube, Steve’s Tour Diary Feed and Soundcloud as the media backend to the website, in order to cut down the maintenance time to an absolute minimum as well as to increase activity on his social media profiles.

Furthermore, we were also very keen to push the boundaries in terms of the structure and design and find out just how far we could push HTML5. The end product is a slick, tidy and neat website which throws an equal mesure of style and functionality, a balance quite hard to achieve. We hope that you too appreciate the time, work and effort that went into making this a reality. It certainly wasn’t easy but seeing it live today made every minute spent on this project worth! Have a browse! http://djstevelawler.com/

Amirali is giving away a free track, to show his gratitude for all the support his fans have shown so far. The Crosstown Rebels man has been playing ‘Falling Down’ in all of his live sets recently and it’s been going down a storm. 2011 was a massive year for Bedlam. With Bedlam founder and resident Tim Green bringing some of the most talented DJs on the planet including Steve Lawler, Cassy, Claude Von Stroke, Heidi, Tobi Neumann, Amirali, Robert Dietz and more. Launching the highly successful Bedlam London events, and also being nominated by DJ Mag as one of the Best Club Nights in the Best of British Awards! However this was only the beginning, and 2012 is going to be even bigger. As Bedlam returns to its spiritual home The Tunnel, you can expect an electric atmosphere that few other parties in the country can achieve. The unique Napoleonic fortress venue is unlike anywhere else, and what better way to kick things off in 2012 than to welcome 2 of the most talented DJs in the world alongside our very own Mr Green. We prepare for a French invasion with Dan Ghenacia & Seuil.

Parisian born and bread Dan Ghenacia is a name that will be familiar to anyone who has set foot on the hallowed dancefloor of DC10 Ibiza. As Circo Loco resident for over 7 years, his performances week in and week out on the terrace at the world famous party have made him a legend within dance music. His legendary residency at the Batofar club helped put Paris on the underground house and techno map. Undoubtedly one of France’s biggest techno exports, he is in charge of the highly acclaimed Freak N Chic label and parties that have been instrumental in shaping the scene as we know it today. Dan was the first to sign acts like Jamie Jones, Dyed Soundorom, Anthony Collins and many more. If that wasn’t enough Dan’s own productions have been setting dancefloors alight for the past decade with releases on Crosstown Rebels, Real Tone Records, Highgrade and of course Freak N Chic. Expect Mr. Ghenacia to destroy The Tunnel come March 10th!

Seuil is a true figurehead in the world of house music. If you have been out partying the past 5 years you will have no doubt lost your mind on the dancefloor countless times to his music. With releases on world-renowned labels like Moon Harbour, Circus Company, Supplement Facts Eklo and many more his tracks championed by every major DJ on the planet. His prowess as a DJ is second to none, as his touring schedule has seen him touchdown in all four corners of the globe continuously blowing away all that come see him play. Its no surprise then to see him playing regularly at clubs like Fabric London, DC10 Ibiza, Panorama Bar Berlin, Womb Tokyo, Rex Paris, Harry Klein Munich, Fuse Brussels and many more, whilst holding down a residency at the infamous Half Baked parties in London. It’s no surprise that resident Tim Green is a big fan of his, playing his track Freakin 4 constantly in 2011 which became a Bedlam anthem!!!

Joining these two guests will of course be Bedlam’s very own Tim Green, who is no stranger to anyone who has a passing interest in house and techno, let alone the Bedlam regulars. His continued rise to the top of the international house and techno scene was helped in 2012 with huge releases like ‘Lemon’ & ‘In Love’ for some of the worlds most respected labels like Cocoon, Get Physical & RebelLion. His tour diary last year read like a who’s who of the best clubs on the planet, including a residency at Space Ibiza alongside Carl Cox. However there is only one place that he feels truly at home, and that is at Bedlam. When Mr. Green gets on the decks at a Bedlam party, only one thing is going to occur, and that is total carnage on the dancefloor. Anyone that has witnessed these performances will know exactly what to expect on March 10th, anyone that hasn’t is in for a real treat!

If all this was not enough for you, also on the bill are two of Kents most talented DJs. Firstly Bedlam’s very own Alex Kilby who never fails to get the dancefloor grooving, with his impeccable taste in house and techno. Rounding things off Minimal Kontakt who’s outstanding skills have saw him wow the crowd as he closed our Halloween party.

When the news dropped that Simon Cowell was set to launch his very own DJ X-Factor show, well nobody really knew what to make of it. Some took to the net to express their anger, discomfort and confusion as to why Mr. Cowell would do such a thing (apart from money obviously), where as others found an opportunity to have a bit of fun./p>

Since we launched the video it has gone totally viral amassing a 250.000 plays on youtube in less than 48h. Watch this blow up in a screen near you!/p>

If you are having a bad day, this will sure cheer you up, if you are having a great day then the following video will make it just a touch better. Enjoy!/p>

We are very happy to announce that Tim Green has joined the Air London agency for Worldwide bookings excluding North and South America. For all future booking inquiries, please contact david@airlondonmusic.com

NYE is a date that always conjures up visions of partying mayhem. This year for the first time ever Bedlam will be bringing this mayhem straight to your doorstep, with a world class international DJ line up, spectacular venue in The Tunnel, and an outrageous visual and light show to bring the the New Year in. We are proud to welcome guests Heidi and Amirali alongside Bedlam resident Tim Green to make sure Bedlam is the only place to be this NYE!

Heidi should be no stranger to anyone with even a small interest in underground dance music. Starting 15 years ago after being inspired by good friend Richie Hawtin, Heidi has gone from an unknown DJ in Winsor Ontario Canada, to queen of the Berlin and London scenes. Her mix of Detroit grooves, German techno, and quirky house, and ability to whip any crowd into a frenzy have given her a formidable reputation as one of the best djs in the world. This reputation has been cemented by her BBC Radio1 show, which she hosts every month for ‘In New DJ’s We Trust’, where her show is listened to by up to 2 million people! Her Jackathon mix compilation for Get Physical was another groundbreaking step forward for her. Made up of entirely new tracks from friends/producers, the compilation was the first of its kind, and has been highly acclaimed by press, fans and fellow djs alike. We are very very lucky to be able to welcome Heidi to headline the Bedlam NYE party @ The Tunnel.

Joining Heidi for this very special occasion will be Bedlam resident Tim Green, who has become something of a hero for the local Kent scene. As co founder of Bedlam, he has helped bring some of the worlds biggest djs to the area, whilst simultaneously producing tracks for the biggest labels on the planet. 2012 has been a another massive year for Tim with releases for Cocoon, Rebellion & Get Physical, as well as remixes of Friendly Fires and MANDY. That’s not to mention a gig diary that reads like a who’s who of the best clubs across the planet. If there is one dj that truly knows how to rock the Bedlam crowd it is Tim. Expect a very special midnight set from Tim to see in the new year in style.

Completing our headline guest djs for this very special occasion is Amirali. Amirali is probably a new name for most of you, however we are willing to put our collective mortgages on that next year he will be the hottest property in electronic music. Having signed an album with the legendary Crosstown Rebels, due for release in 2012, he is one of only 4 artists releasing albums for Crosstown, alongside Art Department, Maceo Plex & Deniz Kurtel. This gives you an idea of his calibre. Amirali will be playing an exclusive live set with full vocals and keys. His unique sound which can only be described as a 21st Century Depeche Mode with a pinch of Crosstown Rebels flavour thrown in will be a fantastic addition to Bedlam’s proceedings and we are very happy to welcome him.

Joining this world class line up is a host of the best DJ talent from Kent. Bedlam resident Alex Kilby continues to build an army of fans, with a series of outstanding performances @ Bedlam. Anyone who has seen him over the past 2 years will testify to his outstanding talent. Next up Mark Derry returns to Bedlam after an impressive display at Bedlam’s Birthday back in June. His enthusiasm behind the decks, matched with his talent for finding those tracks that send a dancefloor wild, meant he was an automatic choice for NYE. Finally we have Anger Managements Adam Mckenzie making a welcome return to the Bedlam fold, where once again he gets to show his talents to the Bedlam faithful.

As the year draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on a year of good music, great parties and more. However, before we all start compiling our “Best Off’s” there are some producers out there who haven’t quite finished yet and are aiming to end the year in a flurry of style… Of that token, we are pleased to announce that our very own Tim Green has unleashed a two track monster for Berlin based Get Physical.

His “In Love” EP will be his last of the year and what a way to see 2011 out in style Track one “In Love” which samples a classic DJ Duke record that has been given a sturdy once over by Mr. Green. Here, the vocal does all the talking as it floats aloft a sturdy house beat with tight popping hand claps and sneaky little synth lines thrown in just at the right time. The flip is a trumpet lead jacking groover with tantalizing whistles and an irresistibly catchy intermittent vocal. As always, Tim is incredibly original in his approach and style yet he pulls it off thus elevating himself high above all the other run of the mill producers currently doing the rounds these days.

Today is cause for celebration at FTM HQ as some of our clients and projects have been nominated at this year’s DJ Mag Best Of British 2011 Awards.

First up, Bedlam Kent has been nominated for the Best Club Night category following a string of events at The Tunnel which has seen Claude VonStroke, Robert Dietz, Steve Lawler grace the halls and slay the decks.

We also have our good friend, head of secretsundaze Giles Smith who has been nominated as Best DJ and personally we feel that no one deserves that accolade more as every time you see him play it is a lesson in solid dance floor electronics.

Last and by no means least, the 10 Years of Secretsundaze Compilation, which we had the pleasure to work on this summer is in contention to win the Best Compilation of the year. For anyone with even a minute interest in proper House and Techno, this compilation is essential and elevates itself high above the wash-away sub genres that are rife in today’s day and age.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that have helped us and helped them attain this high level of recognition so rightfully deserved. We would also like to congratulate and wish the best of luck to all the nominees as it’s their hard work and determination that keep the UK’s scene bubbling and always ahead of the curve.

To say we are excited about this collaboration and our involvement within it would be a huge understatement. No need to beat around the bush on the subject matter so let’s cut straight to the point.

Two of our favourite artists of all time: Radiohead’s front man Thom Yorke and the Berlin based, charlatans of the bass bin Modeselektor have locked horns in the studio and have crafted a slice of absolute sonic brilliance entitled “Shipwreck” on what is Modeselektor’s third studio LP. Released on their prolific Monkeytown Recordings imprint, the album features Thom Yorke’s haunting falsetto on two of the tracks including “Shipwreck” which has been given a stunning visual interpretation by director Tony “Truand” Datis. Words simply don’t suffice to explain how awe inspiring the track is and with it, this video.
