We are very proud to see Marc Houle make his debut in Resident Advisor’s “Top 20 Live Acts” Poll. 2013 has been a standout year for Marc with a slew of high quality releases including his collaboration “Where is Kittin” EP in May with one of techno’s biggest stars, Miss Kittin, followed by another collaboration EP with Items & Things artists Click Box in September. Both releases coming out on his ever-popular Items & Things imprint.

As well as demonstrating his talent as a producer, it is his techno sets which have earned him a particularly impressive touring schedule. In November he returned to North America for a full-on Fall tour, spanning 13 cities in 22 days. It was vigorous sweep of the continent, landing in cities such as Philadelphia, that have not seen Marc Houle perform since his days on the Minus min2MAX bus tour in 2006. This visit also encompassed Marc Houle’s debut Los Angeles performance.

Earlier on in the year Houle took over Boiler Room Berlin at Stadtbad Wedding for a very special live performance. With a reputation for busting out brand new material, Houle’s performances are never quite the same as the last time you saw him and continues to set dancefloors into a frenzy.

Marc also launched a 2013 Podcast series, each edition focused on a different style and direction out of Marc’s large catalogue of released and unreleased material. Take a listen to this energetic, dancefloor-orientated mix which he put together for Soundwall Italy.

With a full-length album coming in spring and more remixes and releases on multiple labels as well as a tour diary that is quickly filling up it should be no surprise to anyone that 2014 is looking very bright for Marc and you should expect to see him climb up next years poll
