“The sound of this record is slightly different and one we feel super excited about. We believe it shows a slightly different, much techier and melodic side to our production. It’s just the starting point for our music this year.”

These words from Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine, a.k.a Fur Coat, follow the announcement of their new EP, ‘Berlin Chronicles’, which is due in April on Crosstown Rebels. Since releasing their debut EP in 2011 on Crosstown Rebels, after being spotted by label boss Damian Lazarus, Fur Coat’s music has always had a relationship and a home there. Only in 2014 did the guys release their killer ‘U Turn‘ EP, an EP which solidified their status in RA’s Top 100 DJ’s.

This three track EP as the guys say shows a slightly different side to their production but manages to keep that undeniable dark and moody essence that Fur Coat have mastered and become globally know for. If you have seen Fur Coat recently you will no doubt have heard these records as they have been dropping them in nearly all their sets, promising signs! XLR8R got us excited by breaking the news this week, you can check it out HERE!

As we waited for the release of the is EP a string of Premieres and exclusive plays wet our appetite and quenched our thirst for Fur Coat Productions. See these all below!

First up THUMP premiered the second track from the EP ‘Banhof’. Listen below.

Next up, djmag had an exclusive premiere of the lead track from ‘Berlin Chronicles’, ‘Pankow‘.

Last but not least Insomniac Events chatted with the guys and exclusively premiered the third track from the EP, ‘Seven‘. Read the full article HERE and listen below!

As well as these premieres which kept us calm we also heard Fur Coat blasting from the radio with exclusive plays of ‘Seven‘ & ‘Pankow‘ from B.Traits and Sir Pete Tong on their respective BBC Radio 1 shows.

With all this attention before the EP dropped, it is no surprise that their have been eyes and ears watching and waiting to review it as soon as it dropped.
