Growing up in rural Kent, Nick was first exposed to electronic at the tender age of 10 when his brother played him Prodigy’s ‘Music For The Jilted Generation’. So begun his love affair with electronic music. His first role in music came through an internship in Silver Planet at the age of 18. Over the next 2 years, he worked his way up to head A&R of the label before moving to CR2 Records as head of marketing and promotions. Whilst there he helped sign and promote huge commercial hits that went top 10 across the world. He is also the man responsible for the infamous Bedlam parties – which played host to the likes of Dixon, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers and Cassy, all in the surroundings of a breathtaking Napoleonic fortress – The Tunnel.
This led to the creation of FTM and thus began Nick’s career as an artist manager. Nick has the most memorable laugh in dance music. His cackle has often been compared to that of Janis from Friends.
Geeko as known to his best friend Siri is the Dalai Lama of digital marketing. Born in the depths of the Soviet Bloc he displayed a big heart for music from a very young age. Starting on the pots and pans at the age of 2, he switched to the violin and piano before spending his formative years crafting sonics with all sorts of gnarly synths much to the annoyance of his neighbours. He moved from Bulgaria to the US to the UK and his vagabond character saw him performing live shows across the world with his experimental electronica live project.
His incredibly hard working nature saw him pass his Arts Management MA at the University of Greenwich with flying colours and since then he has worked with number of artists, labels, events and festivals. Prior to joining FTM he was a marketing exec at Gulp! Music and Digital Comms Exec for The Music Void. He loves a cycle ride, a phat analog bass line, but hates hipsters and triangles which is a shame seeing as he lives in Hackney Wick. In essence, Niko is a child at heart and we wouldn’t have him any other way.
DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER
Born in Lyon, France from an Armenian family, Sevanhas been always as passionate with music as with marketing it to an audience. He spent much of his teenage years promoting his bands on Myspace. By his 18yo, he had launched a successful club night, firstly for the sole purpose of getting into the said-club before the legal age. At 20, he moved in Barcelona where he plugged himself into the international DJ circuit through the city’s boiling summer nights. He kept exploring music & promotions in Europe moving in London where he successfully completed an MBA in Arts Management at City University London. He used his experience of Digital Marketing in the music industry for corporations such as PRS for Music & club spaces such as Village Underground and Proud Camden.
Sevan takes care of our Digital Marketing department. The rest of the time, you’ll likely find him at a yoga class, shopping at an organic Farmers’ Market, underdoing a group meditation in Shoreditch and all the other things healthy-hipsters do nowadays.. but that’s just the way we like him!
Growing up in the small countryside town of Tring, Hertfordshire. Connor was exposed to a widespectrum of music from a young age. His dad would be blasting out Pink Floyd, Genesis, or YES downstairs whilst upstairs his brother would be competing for decibels with early Head Kandi records or Helter Skelter rat packs.
Having studied Urban & Electronic Music at University, Connor already has an impressive history in the scene, having worked at DC10 Ibiza shadowing the legendary sound engineer Andy Kayll. Working as head promoter and artist liaison at Junk Club Southampton, before cutting his teeth in artist management with the now disbanded Safehouse Management and working closely with artists like Carl Cox, Yousef and Monika Kruse. At 6foot7, Connor is officially the tallest man in techno.
